Unbelievable tastes, presentation and service. Went for lunch and had wonderful surprise after surprise in the style and flavor of the food. Seafood appetizer was great. Trout was great. Cheeses amazing. Dessert unbelievable.

Scrumptious and decent meals and wines only here. You may feel a little bit ackward if you are not used to this level of luxury but it makes you discover French culture at its best !

I checked out Tripadvisor and found the #1 restaurant in St Etienne. Made the booking online and was a bit disappointed that it was closed on Saturdays and Sundays. I settled for the Friday to treat my erasmus year student daughter. i was running late but called ahead and they made us feel at ease and assured us it was... More

Really nice place where for less than 50 euros per person you get the service and the food equivalent to a Michelin restaurant. I strongly advise!

I liked the food but the service was awful. I recommend the chicken and potatoes, but avoid François the waiter who was rude to me.-

What's there not to love? Fantastic food with range of set menus depending on budget or taste. Fantastically friendly and helpful staff. The wine list is more like a wine encyclopaedia . Not to be missed!

Very hard to find fault with my dinner here. A smart, stylish, not over-modern dining room with comfortable chairs. Staff smart and just the right amount of attentiveness. Wine list covers a wide range in price, including a good selection of half bottles for us solo business travellers. Dinner was fois gras en gele, preceded by a salt cod appetizer,... More

We were looking for a place to organize a family reunion from overseas and settled for La Table des Lys initialy because their menu propositions looked very attractive: A gasronomic cuisine with a modern angle. We also liked their reactivity answering our emails. On the day of the event we discovered a private salon with a table prepared with taste... More

Excellent meal having chosen one of the set menus. Wine reasonably priced for a good quality and service really attentive but not intrusive. Need to book as full on Friday night. Highly recommended and close to town centre.

Very very very friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant ambiance in a cosy home-like environment. Top food. Very good wines. Parking is rather difficult, so just go a little bit up the hill for this.
