This is a small quirky restaurant outside the centre of Val D 'Isere in La Daille. There was a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu is small using mainly local produce and ranged from fondue to hot stone meat and foie gras to lamb. The food was very good and there was a small reasonably priced wine list from... More

Sadly was on a recommended list. Staff were overwhelmed. Kept bringing us the wrong orders. Food was not up to standard. Took 1 hour for starter to arrive and another hour for the mains to arrive. With a hefty price tag of €60 at least per person, I would say I would have quite happily settled for a croissant and... More

If you are staying in Val D'Isere it's a taxi or the ski bus to get here but well worth it. Charming small restaurant, really good, helpful and personable service, spending time with customers and explaining the menu. Food excellent, all most enjoyable, might even go twice on my next trip to Val D'Isere.

The building was built in 1876 according to the waiter and had been a restaurant since 1960. When hour chalet staff had a night off it was the natural choice for me as it was just 2 doors away. There is wood everywhere with a wood burning stove. Starters included a Beaufort cheese salad and a goat's cheese salad. Decent... More

We enjoyed this nice hidden restaurant in la daille, with savory food, soups, salads, foigras, pierrade and tasty deserts. Not cheap but worthwhile. Will repeat next year!

What a special place! The restored, small home was warm and cozy. We had the table in front of the fire place - tre magnifique. Attentive, French speaking staff and very tasty food. Try and get in the front room.

On the Saturday night just before Christmas we were the only customers! How different this would have been in any restaurant good or bad back in the UK. We didn’t complain as we had the roaring log fire and the staff all to ourselves. We had a choice of house wine from newly opened bottles and it was very acceptable.... More

Friendly people, good cooking - not exceptional, but better than the rest in La Daille. Nice atmosphere.

We ate here last year but this time we were very dissapointed by the service and quality of the food. Although we had booked they couldn't find the booking and we ended up eating in an adjacent room which lacked any atmosphere

We had a wonderful evening meal for the second year in a row. The food was really well cooked and presented and although the wine list was brief we managed to find some very good wines at decent prices. Very homely atmosphere and attentive welcoming service
