The food is just average (turkey felt like a cheap meat from supermarket). The service is accetable (not more) and the best is that is you just change a vegetable by another on the card, you have to pay, the simple bottle of watter is 7euros (a joke). To summarize: We did not taste anything original, we just had food for... La Casserole is a small French style restaurant in the heart of Baden-Baden. The staff are friendly and welcoming, as is the cosy decor. The menu offers a large selection of flammküchen as well as other specialties from Elsass such as snails, frogs legs, duck, etc. The food was well presented and tasty.

When you stay a week in a small resort as Baden Baden, you'd like more experiences so rather change places, than experimenting main courses of the same menu. Well, here wasn't like that at all and we came three times. And each time all 4 courses, we've been 2 couples, were flawless. Try it, you will not regret it.

We visit this Restaurant each time we visit Baden Baden as it is consistantly good and reasonably priced. It is typical Alsacse food done exceptionly well and the Flamkuchen is the best we have had so we usually start by sharing a traditional one. The main courses are rustic and quite large but extremely tasty so it's best to allow... More

I was actually hoping to find a nice casserole on the menu but there were none, not too worry there was plenty to choose from. When we arrived all the tables were reserved but the lovely staff found us a table. Great tasty food, pleasant evening.

A quaint small place in the center of Baden Baden. This small restaurant serves regional dishes. It's small honey and friendly. My waitress suggest I try a flammkuchen, a thin pizza like dish, I chose cheese, onion and bacon. It was good. I then had veal cordon blau. It was very good. It came with fries and a salad. This... A refreshing change from the large beer halls. We really liked this quiet corner restaurant with its Northern French/German cuisine. The owner and his wife are on the scene, suggested appropriate wine and were quite attentive. A definite plus in a more tourist type restaurant area.

Great Alsace food and a lovely almost Alpine atmosphere. Super staff, very good food and good value. Have a Flammekuche, lighter than pizza but tastier

Had veal medallions with morel sauce and spatzle. I make spatzle from scratch myself and was delighted to find the restaurant's version has mine beat! Also, the morel sauce was so delicious that I practically wiped the plate clean.

We went to have dinner at this restaurant after reading the revues. All started well but strangely everything fall appart during the meal. We were seated inside and we were on the front line to witness the dispute between the teenage daughter and the owner of the restaurant her mother. There also seemed to be some kind of problem with... More
