Exquisite bakery and confections which extends to an outdoor patio and indoor restaurant. They serve high tea as well. I had Quiche Lorraine and a torte. All was delicious. Many sumptuous gifts to take home as well. Famous cafe in Baden Baden

Passed a lot of street cafes in Baden-Baden on my way to this one. All nice and right on pedestrian street with garden, outdoor seating etc etc etc, but I had to have this one. No matter what. OMG!! Stop for cake and tea - so many beautiful pastries to choose from and none have disappointed. It really is like a traditional tea room but a lot more to offer.

The cafe is fancy shmancy. The cakes are exquisite. The Black Forest cake was good but I expected more. Had a crust cookie on the bottom which I found unfaithful to the recipe. The chocolate cream was superb but the white cream was either tainted with some flavor or off. Since I doubt it was off the flavoring was peculiar.... More

This is the place to go for a beautiful piece of cake and coffee. Also lovely packages of chocolate and cookies to take home.
