Very nice place, a little bit outside of the center; close to the Hotel " Der kleiner Prinz". This place has been recommended to us 5 years ago during a stay at the "Steinberger" Hotel in Baden. We were asking at the reception for a good place to eat and not "too much"; they proposed us immediately La Gondola and... More

I am fortunate to visit Baden 2-3 times per year and always eat at least one dinner (often twice) at La Gondola. Owner is always happy to see us - definitely always receive an authentic Italian welcome. Good is always good - I can recommend all of the following without hesitation: Pizza (pepperoni w pepperocinis), lasagne, veal Marsala, cheese ravioli... More

This was 100 meters from our apt, and it was wonderful. As was pointed out in other reviews, the owners are Italian. We noticed even the bottled water was Italian. Anyway, I got the spaghetti in olive oil with garlic and it was great. This was some of the best Italian food we had including that in Italy. Good atmosphere,... More

Found this on TripAdvisor and stopped in for lunch right before we had to take off for the train station, so we were crunched for time. Although they were crowded, they squeezed us in and the service was unbelievably fast and very friendly. I had spinach and ricotta handmade ravioli with sage butter sauce. It was some of the best... Eat there since 20 years especially at the best time of the first owner Mauricio. I reserved a table for 2 for 7pm, wasn't prepared at the time we arrived although other tables were marked as reserved. Meal was good but not the quality as I knew and the prices increase a lot. Too noisy, you can hear each other.... More

Recommended by a local as a great little secret. The food was delicious and service lovely. Rustic inside and out. Would be 4 stars, however it was a hot day so we were strongly encouraged to sit outside with other patrons, we went along with this but annoyingly we were then surrounded by smokers for the whole meal. Not ideal... More

A friendly welcome on a Friday night at around 1900 with no reservation. The restaurant had 6 or so customers at that time but was filling up by the time we left at 1945. Prompt service,,hot food (and substantial portions) with a reasonably wide, if predicatable menu. €50 for three mains, bottled water, glass of wine and a coffee. Well... More

We adored this restaurant. The food was great and service was very nice too. It was one of the few restaurants that felt like local and not touristy. The owner did a nice job of making us feel welcome. The pizza was fantastic. Would definitely recommend!

I had a craving for spaghetti so off to the restaurant we went. We arrived without reservation but at 18:00 there was no one in the place. Almost the entire inside was reserved for a group that was coming in, but they were able to seat us for a table of 2. We both had the seafood spaghetti which did... More
