Good and cozy indian restaurant in middle of Freiburg. Run by Pakistani serving Indian food is interesting to see though. Food was good. Hospitality was warm and welcoming. Price is about right not too high or low.

i live almost next door and although Ilove indian food this just does not cut it. The food is just ordinary and average not creativity not variety in the spices. i think it now belongs to the Jaipur but is probably not as good although the Jaipur is nothing special. If you know anything about indian food stay away. This... More
Nestled into the old historical side of the Freiburg city was this so called Indian themed restaurant. Not exciting ambience but it is okay. Service needs to really improve. Food was okay. We were 10 of us so we ordered a lot of stuff. The mix grill was okay very salty indeed. I had never seen a mixed Biriyani in... More
As noted by other reviews the waiter looked like he didn't want to be there and the food was poor, like a bad supermarket ready meal....there are a lot better choices in Freiburg.
The choice is wide and the quality is acceptable. Anyway if you love indian food you would probably like to try a better restaurant
We were looking for something different, as we had typical German fare in previous nights. Good Menu, Food was OK for European Indian Food. Unfortunately the service was terrible. The waiter & bar tender seemed more interested in talking on his mobile phone vs waiting on customers. The place could use a good cleaning.
Unusually for us didn't research this place partly due to seeing outside tables (4?) busy lunchtime . interor decor ok. More for cooler evenings. My chicken tikka korma dish was odd translucent chicken with a hot generic sauce. My husbands thali had none of the mixed flavours you would expect. Staff rude! NOTHING would entice me back PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE
I ate here recently. I was pleased to see an Indian restaurant near to where I was staying so I thought I'd give it a go, without reading the reviews on here. I was served by a very surly waiter who obviously wanted to be somewhere else. I ordered a thali which consisted of a chicken curry, lamb curry, spinach... More

We sat outside in this lovely scenery and felt lucky that fate took us there. The server was both polite and humorous. He helped us find dishes that suited... More
