Super nice place! Offers much more than just a restaurant. Great food and drinks and also regular DJ nights. Coming here since 20 years and it is always a pleasure

We actually cannot tell you if it is good or not. We arrived at 6pm, the restaurant is almost empty and people have already finished and go away. We ask for a table for two in English. There’s no “hello” or “how can I help...you?” Just “No table without reservation”. German People after us have found a table without any reservation. Very bad experience. Luckily we ate very well in a nice Italian restaurant !More
Quite dark German restaurant. Typical local beers and food, not so outstanding (especially the beer was quite flat), although the ‘hanging’ brochette was special. Also the staff didn't leave a lasting impression.
Ate here on our last night in Freudenstadt and was not disappointed. Service and food was excellent. All this and the fact that they serve up their own brewed beer makes this place a must visit for anyone wanting a good restaurant in the town.
It is a beautiful and charming place thanks to the attentive staff, the spacious, beautiful interior and the most fantastic home-brewed natural beer without additives, really great!
Service: + Food: -/+ Atmosphere: + Location: + Price: + Wifi: unknown Typical German food, friendly staff but the music - apres ski music - was too loud. We left without dessert, just because we couldn’t stand the music. On another side note the coke...was disgusting.More
Great beer and also good food at reasonable price!! I was in Germany for 1 week on work and this was one of my favourite places!
On arrival, welcomed and quickly shown to a table. Dog friendly too. Lovely setting and full menu. Unfortunately pils was the worst he had in Germany my partner declared (and we had been to several brauhaus). Food - was very dry both in the farmers...omelette and turkey in mushroom and cream sauce. This was our last stop in Germany on our way home and a disappointing way to leave as other meals have been good.More
During our dinner international visitors joined us in this typical German restaurant right in the middle of Germany's biggest market place. A cozy Biergarten behind the main restaurant. Try Maultasche, Schnitzel with Spätzle (Sabian soft noodles) or Flammkuchen (like in Alsace, France). The menu was...available in 4 languages. This might be the reason why tourists from Hongkong and USA were sitting next to us. Good male service, even joking during service. Not to forget the fresh beer brewed in house. A parking lot can be found behind the post office (next door) underneath the market place. Reasonable prices. Good typical food.More
We were travelling around alittle of the Black Forest just for the day, and stopped at Freudenstadr. We stumbled on this little gem by chance, the beer distillery catching our eye, when we went in we realised it wasn’t that small. The weather was brilliant...and we sat outside. The food was very local, and so tasty. The service was excellent.More
With a group of friends on a motorcycle trip around Germany and Austria. Stayed in the Adler Hotel but fancied some local beer. The Turm Brau didn’t disappoint. The naturtrub beer was really excellent and the choice of food was authentically local. Two of the...party had Schnitzel and the other the Matjes and the Pollock. All meals had generous portions and were really delicious. Attentive service despite it being mad busy, which was a good sign in itself 👍. Would not hesitate to recommend or to return again.More
Was during our stay eating lunch 2 times at Turm Brau. The food had good choices of local and typical german dishes, something we were looking for. The Flammkuchen and Käse Spätzle became our favourites. And the home made beer was also good. The restaurant...is traditional decorated and give a good german atmosphereMore
My wife and I did a day trip to Freudenstadt based on a recommendation. In particular it was recommended that we eat at the Turm Brau. We were not disappointed; the atmosphere is amazing and the goulash soup we shared was awesome. The beer brewed...on the premises is very good as well.More
I took my mom here for lunch and we sat in the little courtyard outside basking in the warm October sun. The in-house brewed beer goes down easy, the German food is delicious and the atmosphere is “urig”, wood-paneled walls make you think you sit...in a farm house. You are right downtown Freudenstadt and a stroll around the center of town is highly recommended - lots of cute and interesting shops!More
Great food, large portions with fair price, large alcohol selection. Service is excellent. Menu is also available in English. Plenty of parking
