This is the place. They have all kinds of sauce for your schnitzel and side dish. I loved the salted potatoes. Everything was good, no doubt about it. Bring cash as we were told no credit card. Still worth the meal and the experience. Staff were nice and funny.

Very nice warm atmosphere, very simple but straight forward menu, and above all the best schnitzel on the planet, giant size and tasty.

A bit hard to find up in the hills overlooking Stuttgart, it's both an indoor and outdoor place. Biggest schnitzel in town with all the accompanying sides. Kids love it

It's simply big! Everything is big! The portions, the glasses, the friendliness and the location itself (indoor & outdoor). The prices are fine looking at the quality and amount of food you get!

I was introduced to Onkel Otto by a 'friend' who suggested a nice walk from Hedelfingen up to a pub called Onkel Otto, where they had good beer and great schnitzels that covered the plate... 3/4 of an hour's climb up the hillside later, after many a "just round the corner" and "no, we're nearly there", we did indeed come... That's a place where you can eat schnitzel as much as you want. Can you believe that? Aside from that portions point, the quality of food is actually good. The recipe is different, it tastes different than any schnitzel that I have ever tried. I can't say it is the best schnitzel ever, in order to be fair, but it... More

The food was great but the kids schnitzel was massive!! But over all the food was great. The Kids menu is like an adult portion and the adult portion is 2 pieces of big schnitzel but its amazing

Bring a friend because you won't be able to eat one serving, especially if you have the french fries. This is a nice spot with inside and outside seating. We sat outside. Order at the counter and they'll call your number when your order is ready. My wife and I visited with friends... six in all. All our orders were... More

Whenever we come to Stuttgart we always go to Onkel Otto for some great schnitzle. Nothing has changed, we got the XXL to share between 3 of us and there was still a bit left over. Few beers with our meal and we were very satisfied. We had the additional sides of chips and spatzen with a pepper and mushroom... More
