If you are looking for meat, this is the place to go in the region. Steaks are tender and very well prepared. Apart from this, the other dishes are super tasty like for example a soup with horse radish.

If you are looking for a first class steak, Pflugmerzler is your place. The menu is limited but prepared with care. I highly recommend the steak tartare, it will be most likely one of the best you will ever have. The prices are a bit high but I'd say it is worth it. Steaks are heavenly. They have a decent... Has changed a lot since I visited last time: they don't accept guest who haven't reserved before, OK acceptable! The prices seem to have increased again, expect to spend 60-80€ per person (which is above some companies compliance rules) and the service was very inattentive or completely absent. Though they expect 10-15% tip... Why?? My filet steak was excellent but... More

The menu of the pflugmerzler is perhaps a little one dimensional but so what? What they do they do very well and their steaks are superb with top quality meat and very good execution. In the winter months one should also watch out for their goose special which is really nice. I have visited many times and will surely return.

I can confirm that the best meat in Ulm (for its quality and for the cooking style) is for sure to be found in this restaurant. I had a great menu with a beef-filet with a cranberries panade....AMAZING

Great place to eat a Wonderfull steak, good music and educated attendants. The price is not so good, but with 40 euros its possible to have a good dinner.

We actually usedTrip Adviser to find this restaurant for our trip to Ulm Germany this fall. The staff were very good, they spoke both German and English very well. The presentation/food was very very good. So good we came back a second time. The menu was primarily meat based however they did have one vegetarian dish. If you have room... More

We have had dinner at the Pflugmertzler on many occasions, both for leisure and on business. Every time the experience has been very good. Certainly this is a place that favors meat eaters and you should perhaps opt for a different restaurant if a veggie but otherwise, it is safe bet. The quality of the meat is exceptional. If something... More

Cosy and lovely restaurant with focus on Nebraska cattle steak added with local (swabian) touch. The steaks are just brilliant! Nothing more to say about it. The servie is very decent and attentive. The Pflugmerzler is located in the ancient city center in a several hundred of years old building. It is in a sideway and not easy to find... More

The steaks are very good, but we were disappointed that the menu is so heavy on the steak side.
