the cake sin this place are insane, the inside is dated and the coffee is terrible but its worth it just for the cake.

I came here after reading a newspaper review of various places that made Lebkuchen, having only ever eaten those rather dull supermarket ones previously. A friend and I ate cake first - exemplary German cakes. And then we bought Lebkuchen. I thought I had heard wrong when I was told the price... those babies are not cheap, and having been... More

This is one of the best patisseries in Nuremberg. Most of the cakes they make are about 40cm in diameter. They are always packed with fresh fruits and berries. Average slice of cake which is about 25cm long is about €3.10 to take out and €4 if you are staying in. If you are in Nuremberg and are going to... More

Every year I am going to Neef café. The food is good and the desserts are the best! I recommend to order the cake with all kind of berries.

The pastry cases at Cafe Neef are filled with all kinds of delectable goodies, but our party opted for fruit pastries served by the slice (each slice the size and shape of a large pizza slice) - we had the rhubarb- custard, apple-ginger and apricot - not too sweet and very good. These with coffee provided the perfect afternoon break.

We stumbled on this cafe for breakfast while staying at the Hotel Saxx nearby. Very welcoming, they have a standard breakfast menu but we shared some lovely cakes - one with poppy seeds and one with fruit and one I think with apple and ginger - more tarts/flans than cakes. Stunning quality.

We were 4 of us. After a beautiful afternoon in Nüremberg, we wanted some coffee and try some of the wonderful cakes at Neef. Ordered 4 coffees and 2 cakes, to be shared. The waitress brought the coffee and the cakes. When we ordered the bill, a strange amount of 1,80€ appeared. When we asked her what it was, at... More

This is a really nice cafe with tasty desserts and good coffee. Beautiful little marzipan fruits also. Nice location down from the castle!

What a busy little cafe! We were in line for a few minutes before we were seated with another lady. She was from just outside Nuremburg and explained to us that we were to order our pastry from the cafe, and receive a ticket, which we were to hand to the waitress. The coffee and cakes we had were excellent,... More
