By far the best service that I got in Germany (special in Munich). The staff is kind and work properly. We didn't have to wait too long for food or beer as usual around here. I had a chef salad which was delicious and my husband 2 beers. The place is located near the bridge and you can appreciate a... More

Very tasty food especially the mushroom soup, apple cake. Delightful atmosphere with view of river and bridge. Friendly service. Ate here twice in our 4 day visit.

We had dinner here one evening during our visit to Wurzburg. The staff were nice and friendly but it took a while to get our food and it was okay. From the other reviews it sounds like breakfast was better. Also, I think our order was not quite 'lost in translation' but we didn't quite get what we thought we... More

If you are staying downtown, cross the bridge over the river and at the other end you'll find this restaurant, which serves very good typical German food at very reasonable prices. And the atmosphere is very good, as well as the service.

I stayed in Würzburg about a month several years ago (way before 2014), visiting my daughter in her junior year abroad at Uni Würzburg. She lived on the cafe side of the river and I was staying in an apartment opposite, we'd meet here for day excursions. As an earlier riser, I spent many mornings at Brükenbäck sitting by an... More

I felt one waitress really hated to serve me and my wife. We just ordered two coffee, but its taste was terrible, paid for that, then leave. We stayed there for only 3 minute. Don't go there. Asian or African never expect welcome.

While staying at the nearby Mercure hotel, we never managed to wake up in time for the hotel breakfast (which was overpriced anyway). This spot, a few minutes walk away, served up some of the best eggs I've ever tasted, along with a great selection of breads and pastries to complement the delicious espresso! What sets this place apart is... More

We were staying in the Mercure and didn't want to have the hotel breakfast so a short walk towards the beautiful old bridge brings you to this cafe. We had a great breakfast of fruit, mueasli, basket of bread and superb hot chocolate and coffee all with a wonderful view of the Fortress Marienberg. Our server was so helpful bringing... More
