We went there for lunch and we could still sit on the terrace in the wonderful October sunshine. Nice home brewed beer, dark and clear unfiltered, great taste. We had bratwurst classic style. The sauerkraut was the best I ever had. Prices are low, the...More

Well worth a visit. Best beer ever and the food is great - traditional German. Atmosphere is buzzing and did I say the beer is good??!!

Nice service. But the food is so salty. I think it's not because of the restaurant's fault, but European food is not my style. I've been to many countries and their food is too salty for my taste. Anyhow, the beer is good, also the...More

We visited here with a pre booked group post Berlin marathon. The food, drink and atmosphere was excellent unfortunately our waiter was the grumpiest man this side of Christendom. Despite being here two nights previously where we paid by combination of cash and card apparently...More

Avoid at all costs - looks inviting at first glance but the management here need to take a long look in the mirror. Impertinent staff to the point of hostile. If you don't want tourists walking through the door then sell up and move.

Stumbled upon this cute deceivingly large restaurant hiding along the water in touristy area and am glad I did. I had lunch, and came back for dinner a few days later. The best two meals I had in Berlin. And Terrific Beer! Had the beef...More

1) cool location on river Spree 2) authentic Native German experience 3) prepare for BAD service if you don't speak or look indigenous (we were warned by others upon entering) 4) lively atmosphere Enjoy !!

We had dinner and some drinks here. The staff serving us looked like they hated their job and wanted to go home! We had schnitzels which were OK. If you are after a good meal, beer and great atmosphere - go to the Hofbräuhaus instead!

Lovely pub situated on the river, lots of outdoor seating in the summer and looked cosy for winter visits. Brew beers on site, a light and a dark pilsner type beer. We ordered (group of us) a metre of beer with a 50% split between...More

We had sauerkraut and bratwurst. Sauerkraut was much too sweet. Big portion. Chicken salad was quite tasteless.

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The

You don't have to. I came here without a reservation and there was a lot of place to sit.
