Me and my friends enjoyed our visit to Langano very much. There were 8 of us and there was a suitable table. We had to wait for food for a bit, but the waiter was very nice and food was tasty.

I went to Langano Restaurant several times b/c of their wonderful kitfo and Tibs. When i think of Ethiopian food and atmosphere i always go there. You will have the chance to see the Ethiopian coffee ceremony, If you go there on Saturday. LA

I came to this place because of all the recommendations, but I got really disappointed. The (vegan) portions on the shared platter were SO tiny, that they felt like a starter. I've never experienced this before and I went out for ethiopian food in different countries and cities many times. Thankfully, the owner was happy to bring out some more... More

A nice little Ethiopian restaurant down a quiet street in Kreuzberg. We've only had Ethiopian food once before, and have been looking forward to having it again ever since. This place did not disappoint, we shared the combination meat platter, really nice, lovely flavours and spices. Good value for money, we couldn't finish it all! If we are back in... More

I've been here already three times, and it's always an amazing experience! The food is terrific, the waiters incredibly friendly and it has an excellent price/quality ratio. I can only recommend it! I suggest to reserve a table during the weekend, and I'm looking forward to get back again!

Went here for dinner with a group of friends and had a fantastic evening! The staff were extremely friendly, the food and drink was great and everything was very good value for money too. Had never been to an Ethiopian restaurant before, but can only recommend trying it out!

I went there with some friends for dinner, we had a reservation but ended up waiting for a table anyway, but it was totally worth it, the food is really great!

I appreciated their effort and their authenticity but neither the ambiente nor the food was impressive. Besides that, we had to wait 50 min for our food..okay to try ethiopian cuisine, but not the place I would go often.

With a nice variety of Ethiopian Cuisine classics. Personally I loved the vegetable platter, especially the beetroots are out of this world. The meat platter also come with vegetables, but if you're looking for a greater portion of meat, better to order a single meat focussed plate as the meat platter does not have so much meat on it. Fresh... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
