I'm only writing this review because I can't believe the poor ones I have just read, it is a must if you want quality sushi, unless your interested in paying for pompous surroundings the go somewhere else. Don't judge a book by its cover!

Went for lunch with my Japanese friend. Food was mediocre, rice was slightly over cooked (too wet). Portions were good. Service was average. Paid €38 for 2 person.

Yes, on the positive side, it's quite affordable. But that is also an indication of what quality you can expect. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone, simply because the fish clearly wasn't fresh. It's not exactly a nice restaurant, more something you'd expect in an shopping mall food corner. The staff is mostly not Japanese. I'd rather spend a... More

Really delicious sushi and good service. The prices are not sooo cheap as in other sushi places that you can find in Berlin but they are worth it .You know that you are paying not for quantity but for the quality ! Small restaurant with a good atmosphere !

Berlin got so many nice sushi places- this is not one of them. The rice was so sticky it reminded me more of thick oatmeal than rice. The salmon on top of the special rolls was very thin and barely there. Service was horrible too. Not recommended, sorry.

Found it in a top ten list online and went there for lunch. Not a very fancy atmosphere or anything but the sushi was delicious!

This is an ok neighborhood restaurant. Nothing special. Sushi was average and not elaborate but then again- why have sushi when you are inland??? But my daughter insisted. We had planned to go to "Sushi Club" which is a better option but their credit card system was down.

This sushi bar is a really good deal in this area. Don't look for style here, although it's in the heart of styleguru and tourist trap friedrichstrasse Berlin. Bit of a messy ordering session, but surprisingly no mistakes. The sushi and springrolls are small, but ok. All tasted fresh but never special. Price was ok which made it an ok... More

Went there with my girlfriend. Ordered a sharing sushi dish which was fine. When we wanted to order more we couldn't get service. We had to go to get the waitress 2 times, and when she was there she was really rude (maybe because we don't speak german). When we finally got the menus and were ready to order the... More

Limited seating outside ... but if sunny, this is the preferred seating area. If you are in the vicinity of Checkpoint Charlie and want to try some Sushi, you could do worse than to head here.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
