The moment you walk in you are captivated by the surroundings. We sat outside amongst the plants on a table big enough for our group but some other parties shared with strangers. We order quite a selection (almost everything on the menu). We all really enjoyed the sushis for starters, very tasty. Unfortunately the main courses were very disappointing, we... More

I was recommended this restaurant by two people and we were not disappointed! Delicious sushi and very accommodating - being gluten free it can sometimes be difficult to find sushi places that can cater but this was very accommodating and food was incredible!

Dudu is absolutely amazing. They offer interesting rolls and great plate options. I split the "Lover's plate" with a friend and it was probably the best sushi I've ever had. It gets quite busy and is slightly expensive, but then again, you probably don't want cheap sushi. Amazing.

A german friend told me it's the best place for sushi in Berlin, and I wasn't dissapointed! I took two dishes of sushi with fish and loved it. Is better to reserve a table. Prices though are a little high as expected of such a high leveled restaurant

We came to Dudu to try their specialty, crispy dudu sushi. We also ordered other stuff but the only thing we didnt get is what we wanted the most. They said we can get it at the end (and that is a part of the starters) with an explanation that the computer confused the orders. We didnt get even a... More

This place is always super crowded. Be ready to share a table (banch style) with some strangers. Light is very dimmed at night i could barely read the menu. Food and service are very good.Prices are average $$$. I recommend the tatar roll & Crispy tiger and Dudu tempura salad. (Photos attached)

The food is really delicious, the atmosphere is a bit too "cool", but that just might be the concept of this typically "Mitte" place which is real "uptown". However what i find scandalous is the water price (see the pic). I went there for a snack and could not believe my eyes when i saw the receipt. I think the... More

The food was a positive surprise - we enjoyed a Tempura Salat and a salmon roll. Its a bit fast service. Could leave the customer more time. And its quite noisy and the room is crowded with dense seating

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
