This kebab has nothing to do with any other kebab I had ever eaten! So many ingridients so well mixed... The splash of lemon, the fried vegetables, the bread! If you close your eyes and you are used to "average" kebab, you would not think you are eating a kebab.

Even if you are at Berlin for a short time you have to visit it. But be ready for the long line. It is the best Turkish Doner you will it in your life.

We had to check out the almighty Mustafa's Gemuse Kebap (Vegetable Kebab) in northern Bergmannkiez. Waited half an hour in line as the staff takes their time. Finally recieved which was amazing. It is cheap and satisfying, the addition of the vegetables is refreshing, but not sure if worth the hype and waiting in line. You should come early or... More

My God! That's what you'll say when you take your first bite of the Gemüsekebap. Best kebab in the world, it is not overrated, believe me! I was told the queue usually takes an hour, we didn't wait more than 10 minutes but even if you had to wait 1 or 2 hours it would be worth it. 3,10€ for... More

We happened to have a 1 day stopover at Berlin and decided to try this place out as it was towards the way of our hotel. It was pouring rain the day we went BUT there was still a line for them. They are are well worth it for the price we paid. We ordered all the meat options. They... More

Waited for roughly 15minutes in the queue. Honestly a really great doner, I'd wait longer. Fresh salad, roasted veg/potatoes, and some really juicy chicken doner embedded in the warm crunchy piece of bread, with a final sprinkle of feta. Bellisimo!

I had read so much about this place and it's worth every praise. The best kebab we've ever eaten, made with so much love from Mustafa and his workers. Wow.. Just wow! :)

After a night out at Yorckschlösschen Blues and Jazz bar (which I highly recommend btw), we stumbled upon this food truck on the way back to Yorckstrasse metro station. There were about 20 people in the queue before we got served, but it really wasn't a surprise when we finally got to try it. Believe me when I say that... More

The food is good, cant rate it as fantastic or super tasty. The vegetables are fresh, like the spices and they put a little white cheese on the top. Good prices but it is really busy place and you need to wait a lot.

You know it must be good when you see over a dozen locals queuing in the sub-zero, snowy conditions. I wasn't let down, it was an excellently balanced kebab with a generous portion of meat along with fried vegetables, salad and sauce. You can get a beer from an off-license next door and enjoy your kebab even more. It's good... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
