We returned to this small Doner booth 2 years after having been the first time. The doner was just as good this time around, but I don't think it's worth the extended wait time. We were waiting for about 45 minutes, but I heard it can get up to double that, depending on the day.

The best place to eat Doner Kabab, yummm! We stood in a long line, for almost an hour but it was worth it. Cool place funny staff. You must visit there!!

Good fast food, not the standard stuff. Many ingregientes which you don't gat at other places. Very well visisted, so be prepared to wait a little in the row.

We stood in a long line, for almost an hour but it was worth it! This was one of the best meals that we ate in Germany. I recommend having someone in your family or a friend stand in line for you while you wait in the long, but shorter line at Curry 36. I got a Curry Wurst and... More

This was definitely one of my best experiences in Berlin - having a really amazing doner kebab from Mustafas. I was there on a weekday night and surprisingly the queue wasn't too long. I waited about 15 minutes. Price was cheap and staff efficient and friendly. The doner was really crisp on the outside and the chicken meat succulent, tender... More

It's hard to beat a delicious, filling meal for €2.80 (gemüsekebab) or €3.50 (dürüm vegetarisch). Sure, the line can get long, which is less tolerable in winter -- if there are more than 5-6 people in front of you, expect to wait 15+ minutes. But Mustafa's is well worth it. I prefer the dürüm because it's rolled and easier to... More

Flavors are outta control here, but you've been warned: the line here is quite brutal at dinner. Why is the line so long, you ask? Because the process is utterly inefficient, but people will wait and wait for it. And because it's delicious and cheap. In fact, go to Curry 36 and pick up a Currywurst for when you wait... More

Very tasty and good value for money. But the queue is always insane. Prepare to wait at least 1 hour.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
