Excellent food, service and value for money. A bit crowdy but still one of my favorites in Berlin :-) :-) :-)

Vuong is an interesting choice in the heart of Berlin Mitte. Among so many Asian restaurants in town, they innovate and present beautifully crafted dishes for reasonable prices. Service is fast paced, almost rushed, and space is quite limited, so don't expect a romantic ambiance. Most probably, you'll go crazy with its loudness. Still, off peak hours, this is an... More

The menu is very limited. Not many choices. The starters are tasteful but the main courses are bland. Colourful decoration but a bit impolite service

Not sure if we were just unlucky with our food or is this place really that overrated. We shared a prawn starter. It was tasteless but greasy. My noodle salad tasted like salt and nothing else and my spouse had the Hanoi Pho which tasted like nothing at all. He also had a raspberry passion fruit smoothie with a "hint"... More

This restaurant serves tasty Vietnamese 'fast' food. With its location in a trendy area, the visitors often stand in lines to get in, especially because the restaurant is not that big. It's definitely worth the try if you are visiting Berlin but beat the lines and just go to an unconventional time (not lunch!).

Dear Anonymous, we are very sorry that the weather was unpleasant this weekend. Everybody loves sunshine when visiting a city. Usually the wait at Monsieur Vuong is no longer than 5-10 minutes, but Berlin was suprisingly busy for Easter and we are just a small restaurant. Obviously we want anyone to get a table as quick as possible, but there... More

It is really a very good restaurant with excellent food. The fact though it's so successful creates such stress to the staff that you feel they want you to leave as soon as possible to serve the next customers.

A great place to go if you are craving for an authenticated vietnamese pho. The spring rolls were delicious too!

Very friendly staff. English menus. Very high quality dishes. Nicely decorated. Good opening hours. The place is obviously very popular. I'm not a fan of Vietnamese food but people who like Vietnamese food will absolutely love it.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
