We love the Ampelmann, so wanted to try the restaurant. Our kids loved the food and the service was great. We wished it wasn't pouring rain, as we would have loved to sit outside in the chairs facing the river.

We had a late afternoon lunch with kids sitting on the Amperlmanm deck chairs and listening to a street musician preforming, a great way to chill by the Museum Island. The restaurant serves pizza, currywurst ( typical Berlin sausage dish with ketchup and curry powder)....More

That was super expensive for what they give us. 8.5euro for one saucauge! Worst restaurant I did in Berlin

The place is definately overpriced. The portions are really small. I would only recommend this as a place to drink in the park, but not for eating.

Had a quiet hour chilling in. The deckchairs beside the river watching the world go by. Good beer and great atmosphere sitting here on a summers day.

We had a drink at the "beach bar" and then went on to the restaurant. It's well located, close to the museums and the Hackesche market and invites you to stay to rest. Service at the restaurant was pretty slow although it wasn't too crowded...More

I expected this to be more of an Ampelmann themed coffee shop, but it's so much more than that. Yes, there are a few Ampelmann things about, but it's originally decorated to a non Ampelmann theme, and has a great atmosphere in an out of...More

The AMPELMANN Restaurant is located in Berlin Mitte (in the S-Bahn arches at Hackescher Markt).Located directly on the Spree you can take a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle and you can taste creative Berliner cuisine and international favorites here. Of course, there are also vegetarian and vegan dishes. At the AMPELMANN beach bar you can relax on comfortable deckchairs, with a delicious cocktail or a refreshing beer and enjoy the Berlin summer to the fullest with the unique view of the Spree and the Museum Island. Every day from 10 -12 a.m. we offer you delicious breakfast variations. The Ampelmännchen is one of the few things that survived the fall of the Wall in 1989. Meanwhile, the Ampelmann has become a Berlin ambassador. This was assured by the company AMPELMANN. In addition to the AMPELMANN Restaurant there is a café and six shops, where every visitor will find a piece of Berlin to take home with.
