I was there with my wife and a couple of friends, very good experience. Food is very good and the waiters are very kind. Exotic plates and a new experience that I suggest to everyone

We were actually on the way to another restaurant, but we didn't want to walk any further so we stopped at this restaurant. The food was a good surprise, really tasty and special. Service was also quite nice.

This is the second time I have been here so I was looking forward to it as i remember the food being really tasty. This time it was just as nice but I would say the main meal lacked enough meat. It came with a generous amount of veg, sauce and rice but I really think they scrimped on the... More

The Lemon Leaf presents itself as an indochina restaurant and it does certainly offer a number of dishes from exotic places like Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. I am not able to evaluate the dishes as to how original they are but the menu comes across as varied and what we had was very tasteful. We shared ricepaper rolls with a... More

Some friends recomended us the Lemongrass but in the hotel another one said that at the Lemon Leaf the meal was very good. So we choose the Lemon Leaf and we can say the dishes (Laos kitchen most of them) were very tasty and the price was medium. 4 dishes, 2 cokes and 1 beer 33€. It has been a... More

After previous visits I always left smiling but this time they really messed things up. Which was quite a let down, since I was celebrating my 50th birthday with some close friends and bragged how good their food is. They still serve a decent meal but in terms of time management they really need get their act together. We waited... More

We wait one hour to eat. Food was quite good and not expensive. We suggest the ginger and honey tea.

The cuisine served here is not your normal Asian cuisine that you usually get in European cities. It's not your typical Chinese or Vietnamese restaurant. The closest it gets is to Thai. It is in fact, Cambodian / Laotian which is slightly different than Thai food and the way this restaurant cooks their food is definitely very tasty. The selection... More

Decided to give the lemon leaf a try and we're pretty disappointed. The service was bad, the waiter was bordering on rude and the food was overly salty.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
