Friendly stuff, variety of meals. Excellent sauces! They serve in time. The meal was very tastefull! If we have stayed more than two days in Berlin we would have visited the reastaurant more than once.

Recommended by friends from Hannover as a meeting point on a Saturday aftenoon/evening for drinks and food, as we had eaten just before travelling to Walhalla we had a beer and watched the football while we waited for our friends to arrive, it is a busy place with what looks to be mostly locals using it but we were made... We visited twice during our stay in Berlin, both times for lunch, both time were delicious. Heavenly spatzle with cheese and bacon, cordon bleu, creamy chicken with mushrooms and crispy potatoes... Yum. Sitting outside you need to walk to the window to order and get your food, which is fine, there was no room inside due to a soccer game... More

The only thing we wanted to order was chicken, but they run out of it. The pizza we ordered for an appetizer was big enough but had a taste of a heated frozen one. The tomato soup was OK, but a bit on the sweet creamy side. The rest of the food was not so appealing. everything was covered with... More

This restaurant at the corner of Krefelder Straße and Essener Straße is quite cosy and is visited by a very mixed audience varying from families with children to elderly people. The food is excellent, nothing haute cuisine though, and the prices are unbeatable. I have been here several times and I can only recommend it!

A friend of ours lives down the street took us there. It is a Pub and the atmosphere was great. Since our friend are regulars they advised us what to order. The first time we had the schnitzel with cheese and ham - it was great - and there was a lot of it. The second time I had pizza... More

We are here on my last night in Berlin as we were in the area and had heard of things of the pub. It is always busy and annoying you can rarely sit outside, where the atmosphere is better. The food took over an hour to come and was of poor quality; certainly not worth the wait! We actually resorted... More

I visited Walhalla with some friends and the service was definitely lacking a bit. The food was good, but it took forever to be cooked and brought to our table. I wasn't really impressed with this location.

Thank ERIC W

Staying in Moabit

Neighbourhood Profile
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city centre are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighbourhood in the city.
