Went for pizzas and red wine. After some bread and mezze the pizzas arrived. They had a thin, light and fluffy dough which was very tasty. The wine by the carafe was fine and good value. Overall a very good experience.

I often visit Toscana. The location of this very authentic little restaurant is amazing! It is located in the heart of Prenzlauer berg. There is a great, indescribable atmosphere. Always amazing food and great service! Remember to book a table.

We ordered black pasta with shrimps and squid, mixed salad and pasta with salmon. All very tasty and we did not have to wait long for the dishes to be served. The bill was surprisingly low, service was quick and friendly. After we tipped the waiter, we were surprised with a glass of limoncello. Recommended.

We had pasta with salmon and pasta with squid. Both dishes were delicious and for a good price. As an added bonus, the staff complemented the good atmosphere. Definately worth visiting

Went there to have dinner with my wife and two friends. Food is norma, not bad but no high quality. We spent too much time to have the dinner, to have the piccant oil for the pizza and to have the wine. When we wanted to pay, no cards were accepted because they don't have the machine to get the... We came there when looking for a restaurant in Prenzlauerberg and loved it that much that we returned the next day. Genuine Italian food, real Italian waiters, friendly atmosphere, many locals visiting. As desert we had Panna Cotta, delicious.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
