Local "amazing" food. Tasty and well done. My first time here was in 2015 and I came back... It worth it. Duck is the perfect choice made it like Bavarian stile. The place an the staff are really nice and helpful. Very reasonable price.

My ex-pat friend took me to this restaurant so I could try German food at a place he likes. We ended up sharing the Duck special for 2: It was split and carved, and the skin was nice and crisp. The red cabbage was terrific...More

Really nice Schwäbisch (Suabian/ southern German) food - feels a bit more refined than the usual basic German restaurant (though there's nothing wrong with a basic German restaurant!). The pork shoulder (Schäufele) is highly recommended.

Last Friday evening saw our last night in Berlin so having to be up early in the morning we walked the 300 yes or so to the beautiful Viktoria-Luise-Platz and the restaurants surrounding the platza. We had noticed the Wiesentein during our strolls in the...More

You wait for one hour! The cook must be a chain smoker otherwise I cannot explain the copious amounts of salt that made my food inedible. The Maultaschen were also not cooked so that the noodle wrap was very hard. Never again!

We never ate here but the reason why is enough to never return to this place. We made a reservation for 7 at 20:30 but when we arrived, we were told that 'a woman' had called an hour earlier to cancel our reservation (complete with...More

I visited this place over the last weekend, despite seeing how popular the place is/was (I live close to the restaurant so noticed the amount of patrons), how nice the decor is and reading the reviews here I was left very disappointed. Understandably the place...More

In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political
west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to
famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may
have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays
tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest
city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent
past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating
back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while
