Flower ice cream! I have never seen this before so I had to try it! You get your cone with ice cream in the shape of a flower. Ice cream is very delicious. It was around 4,50€ for one, so rather expensive.

On the way back to our hotel, we decided to stop at the Amorino Ice cream parlour. One of us had heard of their wonderful creations: every ice cream cone is made up as a flower in different colours, depending on the flavours you choose. And … they do not only look good, they also taste good!

Tasty ice cream even though you pay a bit extra for it , would recommend the caramel and coffee. Interesting area though

If you like sweets that also look nice, this is the place for you. Some find the price a bit too high, but it's well worth it if you want to treat yourself every once in awhile. The big cone is 4.60€ and you can select your own flavours. The cheapest cup is I think 3.40€, but given that the... More

Amorino is one of the best ice cream shop I tried. Very delicious recipes, fresh taste, and neat athmosphere can be counted as positive effects.

This is quite a delicious ice cream with different flavors and beautifully presented. It's the best I had in Berlin. They also have decent expresso.

Really good ice cream from Italy in flower design. Be patient as sometimes there are many people waiting, but it is worth.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
