We ate here and found the service by Laszlo to be friendly and efficient and the food very well prepared and reasonably priced. I had the linguine with beef fillet and I thought that it was one of the best meals that I have ever tasted, my wife had the shnitzel and enjoyed it very much. Well worth a visit!

Managed to book a table on Christmas Day evening. Excellent service and enjoyed linguine, creme brulee and a large beer. Tasty food at a reasonable price.

After couple of drinks at skybar on the 14th floor. We felt a bit hungry.. when the elevator opened down we saw the place and decided to take the chance. The waiter was nice, the miniatures was really good. The pasta with the fish was delicious and the risotto as well!! We are recommend!!!

Até here in our first night in the hotel. Food was good and tasty but lacking any excitement, my steak came with a ratatouille like accompaniment only. My husband loved his schnitzel though. Service was good too. Prices reasonable.

It the base restaurant of Alden's hotel; the other is a star restaurant. Food is ok, nothing special and prices are average

I am sorry, but I did not care for the food or the ambience of this restaurant. Two visits. Maybe I was unlucky.

We ate in Oscars while staying at Andels hotel - delicious food and fantastic staff. The staff were so professional and attentive, yet made us feel like old friends. The food was first class, and was served very quickly. Great, thanks :)

A large platter of antipasto provided a good start to the meal at Oscar's, well dressed and delicious. The experience was rather let down by a tough and somewhat flabby Wienerschnitzel however - disappointing.

I ate here while staying at the hotel. It is a very nice Mediterranean style restaurant with full bar service. Open from 11am until 11pm & is reasonably priced. It has a view onto the street. You can also take drinks on small side walk patio.

I ate dinner here since it is the only decent place to eat in the area and the meal was very good. Rather small with few seats though.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
