A business colleague who has visited this place many times decided to bring me here for my first trip. We ordered several appetizers and a couple of dinners to share. The menu was very diverse with many selections. We enjoyed everything and I was pleasantly surprised of the quality of the food. The place was very busy and I was... More

The food is not bad - it is your average Chinese, but the dim sum are very good (almost as good as the ones I had in Shanghai). The service is not so good and is not consistent, which is pretty annoying to watch. We were treated differently from entering the place - when we were shown a poor table... More

As I like to eat dinner early compared to most people (between 5:30 and 6) there was only one other group in the resturant when I was there, so I had no problem being served.I ordered the ginger pork and the pork dumplings, and while the ginger pork wasn't the best I've ever had it was still good, and the... My first visit to Berlin and my friends took me to the Lucky Star for "Hot Pot" what a great meal, it was so much fun for the three of us to cook our own food and try and eat it with chopsticks. The restaurant was full of Chinese people obviously enjoying the fare. Now back home and trying to... More

If you dont know him, google! When I came here, Saturday night, I saw him and his family ate here outside the restaurant. The hotpot itself is okay, the orders came a bit slow. like we have to wait 20 minutes for that. The rest was fine. The meat are okay. You can ask for more and no problem, because... More

Low-end quality meat and vegetables. Meat was still frozen on the plate. Only one sauce (peanut) available. Worst service ever. For every person who is positive about this place will definitely enjoy any other hot pot place since it cannot be worse. Don't. Eat. Here.

A pretty nice place with good service. But I was a little disappointed about the hot pot. The choice of ingredients was very very small, especially the choice of vegetables was disappointing. And every time we reordered the portions got smaller. They did not have a great choice of sauces.

I was there 2-3 times before with friends. We always ate hot pot. The good is that they have several soups for the hot pot. And it's really good and also the things eg the meat is good. The price for all you can eat is fantastic but every time we want to eat more we have to call the... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
