They serve good Italian food and coffee. sometimes recommended to make a reservation. If whether allows, sitting outside is very pleasant.

Warm and welcoming Italian restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere. Staff is friendly. Menu includes classics and some more innovative dishes. Food in general is good!

We have been here several times over the past ten years and the place is always superb. The food is fine and relatively cheap, and the staff is always super friendly. The athmosphere is great and kids are more than welcome.

This is a good italian-style restaurant. The beer and the food was fine, but the portions were on the smaller side. Although not expensive, we expected a bit more.

This was definitely off the beaten track for us first timers but we stuck with it and glad we found it. It's in a residential neighbourhood and appears to be one for the locals. It gets very busy and don't expect to be getting a romantic table for two as you share wherever there is a space. The staff are... More

We chanced across Molinari's and decided to enjoy the outdoor seating. I'm super happy we did: the pastas were amazing and the pizza one in our party had was also good. The service was very friendly (also really did their best to accommodate for our 1-year-old baby) and made us feel welcome. Highly recommended.

This place is a find. It dishes up some of the best pasta money can buy. Its not a place for fancy or intimate dinners, but its great for an informal dinner with friends or your loved one. The pasta came in great variety and the chef was very creative. We ordered a dish of white asparagus, strawberry parmesan sauce... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
