We had soups as starters and beef and duck as the main. After having German food for a couple days everything tasted extremely good. The price was very reasonable, about 30 euros, for excellent and abundant food, and two glasses of wine. The place is quite nice, and the service was friendly and quite swift.

Amazing salads, superb mango sauce and excellent drinks make this restaurant my number one choice in Berlin. The prices are rather reasonable, the dishes are well served and the service has never disappointed me. I have visited this place 6 times in two months during my exchange programme and I would absolutely love to go there again.

Very well cooked and served Vietnamese. We tried the X3 duck and the duck no 16 with some beer and we paid approx. 12€ per person. Also nice location.

I can really recommend this place if you like vietnamese food. Tastes great and is really cheap. So you can have another starter.

We ate here with our family of five persons. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. English menus were available. Service was kind and friendly! We ate a three course menu; soups and summer rolls as a starter were super yammy. Chicken and beef on the main courses were fantastic! Sauces were spiced very good. The restaurant is also a teahouse -... More

Mamay has probably the best Vietnamese food I've tasted so far. Their dishes are beautifully presented and all the little details seem to have been thought of. The restaurant's staff is very friendly and its atmosphere is great for any type of guest, be it a meeting with friends or a date. Lastly, the prices on the menu are also... More

I ordered chicken with mango sauce and it was delicious. I could taste the fresh mango. The menu had all kinds of interesting teas and they serve them in wonderful big cups with a variety of fresh spices floating in the bottom. Just having the tea in the beautiful cups was a treat! The price was reasonable and the place... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
