We took the 5 course chef menu. With every bite we fell more and more in love with the place, it was surprising, colorful and delicious! The service was good, friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

Occasionally you will have dinner at a restaurant that "knocks your socks off!". I mean some dish will be so delicious that you will have to just stop talking and thinking, and just experience the sensation of delicious. The chief at Lucky Leek did this to us over and over the night we were there. I can only say --... More

This restaurant is truly a gem and a must for all vegetarians and vegans visiting Berlin. I had a five course menu and my fiancé had a three course menu, everything was utterly delicious and the dishes looked beautiful, too. We enjoyed the food at Lucky Leek far more than in Cookies & Cream which we also visited a couple... More

Up there with the best of Sanfrancisco and Barcelona, better than Sydney. Service, quality, imagination were all top quality. And I am a meat eater! Who likes variety. Probably a bit expensive for the local working families but any tourist with a good job should be able to afford . A mixed crowd from designer labelled folks to discerning locals,... More

I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday and must commend the staff for the birthday surprise they brought at the end - the candle in the dessert and sparkling wine was very much appreciated. The food itself was exceptional - we both had 3 courses (1 set from the 3-course menu and 1 set from the 5-course menu), and... More

My husband and I came here for our 1 Year Wedding Anniversary. We said as much in the reservation and they brought out complimentary glasses of champagne with raspberries at the bottom - so unnecessary and completely appreciated. The food was absolutely amazing. My husband got the 5-course and I got the 3-course so we could try everything. Though it... More

We foremost like Berlin for it's down-to-earth vegan bistro's that are plenty to find all over the city, but sometimes it's also nice to just dine in an upgrade stylish place, and only find vegan options on the menu card. We had an anniversary to celebrate, during a weekend of vegan tastings all over Berlin, and thus we tried Lucky... More

My partner and I visited the Lucky Leek on a Friday night and had a truly wonderful meal! We opted for the 5 course menu and every dish was beautiful! The service was also completely fabulous with all serving staff very knowledgeable on each dish! Great value for the excellent food and service!

A must visit place for vegetarians/vegans. Had to make a reservation. Opted for a 3 course meal with recommended cider to go with the meal. I am not sure whether to call it as fusion as some dishes contained elements from different cuisines. The food is amazing with equally good service. Price is not bad either... Definitely recommend it...

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
