Weak, tasteless americano served up by an even weaker but arrogant male barista. I returned the "coffees" to be told "That's what to expect for an americano" No offer to replace the tasteless fluid, so I took them back to the counter and asked the "Barista" to take his tasteless fluid back. He just shrugged his shoulders. The single point... More

The staff hadn't any idea of how to make a Frappe, we waited for 20 minutes and got a Frappe that tasted like water. I would never recommend this place to anyone!

I really enjoyed the food we had here, I had an avocado wrap which was really good and tasty and John had a Cajun chicken panini which he enjoyed. The latte was great and the seating so comfortable and relaxing. A lovely place for good food and good coffee!

Our hotel was nearby and we came here for breakfast daily. Lovely toasted panini's. Excellent breakfast in a great Potsdamer Platz location.

Great coffee and they even had real decaf ( not instant). Croissants were flaky and fresh, really enjoyed sipping the coffee at the front and watching Berliners going to work. Really recommend.

The coffee was good, not great but good. The desserts are plenty to choose for a quick bite, i think they have sandwiches too, didn't check that out as i wanted something sweet. The environment is like any commercial coffee shop, a bit dirty in my opinion, the floor and tables have not been wiped/cleaned. There's also toilet (this also... More

This place is not only beautifully located near the river and with a nice seating plaza, but it has great coffee and pastries. Perfectly made hot or cold drinks and cheap!

Place is nice and well located. Actually a Franchise. Blonde trainee girl was nice, other two baristas are super rude.

Stopped by this coffee shop to grab a quick bite and a cup of coffee. The coffees were good, both the regular black and the cafe latte. The sandwiches were good too. The shop is a bit small with limeted seeting, but has plenty of seats outside.

Perfect for taking a break. Excellent pastries, not too expensive (1.5-4€ per cake/pastry/sandwich). Will come back!

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
