I definitely recommend this place! If you're visiting Berlin in winter, you have to eat a delicious hot Ramen with a cup of lemon tea! And the price is really low, about 12-15E per person.

This place is beautifully designed, and has a nice atmosphere. The service was good and the dishes arrived fast. Eachceramic bowl is uniquely designed which is beautiful. We've had one soup with pork belly and egg, and another with shrimp wontons. The broth was good, the noodles were great, but the wonton filling tasted wrong - it had a bit... More

Found Cocolo using the "near me now" map on TripAdvisor. The line was out the door when we showed up and the restaurant is quite small, but the turnover was fast and we got a table about 20 minutes after arriving. While standing in line, the waitress offered to get us drinks...I was suffering from a bad bout of laryngitis,... More

I had been here in 2014 fall and I went back this month. I have to say, only thing that has changed is their location (which is a good thing because old place was too tiny). While I haven't been to Japan, being from NYC, I've been to many ramen places. Ippudo being my the favorite place, Cocolo ramen comes... More

If you like Ramen and Asia Fusion with great atmosphere, you have to go there. There is always queue but only for 10-15 minutes.

We went there for lunch and were not disappointed. Everything tasted authentic and fresh and prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. It gets packed during lunchtime so I would suggest to make a reservation or get there early

Having lived in Japan for a couple of years, I always miss the casual restaurants and noodle bars so ubiquitous there. Service is friendly, the food is good and especially the open cooking in front is just like in Japan. Cocolo Ramen could just be in the back of any train station there, where you have a quick ramen on... More

I had tonkatsu ramen, and my girlfriend had... well, i don`t remember, Anyway, both where delicious and gently served. Nice grilled gyosas for starter, two German beers, one cheesecake with Yozu to share for desert, wich in my opinion was a bit to sour . Nice, simple Japanese decor in a trendy typical Berlin building. Super friendly the waiter that received... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
