We had a very tasty meal. My friend had fish and I had stir fried chicken. Huge portions too. Nice atmosphere.

We had agroup of 20 people and 3 course dinner (if i remember correctly). The food was excellent (i could eat that Beijing duck all day every day), we were taken care of really well. At times, we had to wait for new set of drinks but then again, we might have been drinking quite a bit.

Saturday night treat. Very un friendly service. Starter Mixed Dim Sum very good. Main courses poor. Lots of volume no quality. Disappointed. Worst of all, surely unfriendly service. When we didn't leave a tip the lady threw the card terminal at my wife and announced "how much you want to pay?" She said the amount on the machine. Waitress repeated... More

Lovely food but poor, slow service from miserable staff. A smile wouldn't go amiss, and tables shouldn't be left dirty for over an hour before being cleaned!

Busy restaurant which we had booked online before our trip. Be aware that hot dishes are really spicy so choose carefully. Setting nice, staff friendly and portions large. On a quiet street near museum island.

The resturant is a bit tucked away from the main roads but the food was very authentic. But service was not that great, the lady serving us was somewhat rude.

Just ate here on our 6th trip to Berlin. Service was dire. No asking if we needed anything so only had 1 drink. Prawn starter was far too hot, like it had been in a microwave, pork sticky buns were tasteless as was the special fried rice. Duck was tasty, but order was brought over with no pancakes and we... We had dumplings as a starter and chicken in red curry and beef very strong in coriander and chilli. Wow that chilli was really strong... and the coriander really did it for me. But I love spicy food.. so be aware. We shared a 500 ml red wine and big bottle of sparkling water. The cost was 52 euros. :)... More

We visited here upon a friends recommendation whilst staying in Berlin for a short break. Its reasonably priced with a good quality dishes. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very attentive. Portions were huge, so you will only need to order 1 dish each.

Family of 5 with two vegetarian, we had a dinner in this place to everyones satisfaction. Friendly staff, fast service, nice food. The gyoza were very tasty as were the vegetarian dim sum; the Peking duck is listed as a starter but the serving is rather generous (and nice).

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
