Went for dinner since I was staying at the Almodóvar hotel. I had five tapas and a gluten free/non alcoholic beer. Total: 29 euro. The food was ok. Nothing to neither rave nor complain about. But, I don't think the meal is worth that price even though the setting is somewhat upscale (still informal). Nice addition with a GF bread... More

The food here was delicious. The Fajita dish was a very generous portion of food! Definitely worth paying a bit extra for this tasty vegan food. It was a shame to see that it was so quiet when we went on a Sunday evening, as the food was great and the staff were very helpful to us and friendly. Whether... More

we found the spot by hazard and were thrilled about the menu. We had a tasty starter, vitello tomato an züricher geschnetzeltes for main course! both very good. we liked the atmosphere and the friendly service. It isn't cheap, but than again we found it totally worth it!

We were exploring street art and happened upon this eatery. I really enjoyed it as a vegan. It's actually a hotel restaurant. We sat in a beautiful outdoor area in the back. The service was outstanding and the food we has a a vegan version of traditional German cuisine. We started with stuffed dates in a smoked tofu chorizo-soy creme.... More

I like this vegetarian restaurant as they always have seasonal food served in excellent and tasty way. Also breakfast is something you have to try - varius choice of bread spreads, salads and good tea. Only some fresh veggies were missing in my opinion. Still I highly recommend, also for people on gluten free diet.

Nice atmosphere, nice service, tasty food, good choice of vegan dishes. It is a welcome and elegant option compared to many other vegan places which seem to look a bit scruffy. The choice of food seems to be a bit Spanish style. Our choice was the mixed starter plate which, however, turned out to be over-prized if you take into account... More

Arrived from Berlin/Tegel Airport to meet with colleagues from the rest of the World we started at Bistro Bardot with a fantastic brunch. There was a lot of opportunities to eat what you probably wouldn't take at a normal buffet. It's amazing to sit outside and enjoy the brunch when the spring hits Berlin - It's definitely a place I... Spontanious dinner at Bistro Bardot yesterday; we were walking in Friedrischain and actually were planning to find a small pizza somewhere ,but saw this place and just decided to try ) I would agree with many other reviews: food is nice, but not special and overall a bit overpriced, but the portions are big! Paella is "boring", beet carpaccio ,baked dates... More

Good food, but I wasn't happy with the service. Difficult to get the wifi code in the hotel, forgot bringing me extra wine and brought dry bread at the table. After a busy day, this was not a good end.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
