The sushi is very nice compared to the price, I have been there many times (it is basically the sushi place I always go in the summer once per week since there are nice tables outside) but after today... When the waitress came to ask us for the bill I just told her that I'll pay XYX. She did not... More

We live around the corner and we've been going there every other week for years now. The only reason to go there was a special sauce our 8 years old daughter is addicted to. Usually we choose other restaurants since this one has no atmosphere, waiters do permanently change and it is dominated by tourists. That's why Berlin people try... More

I have been there a couple of times by now and tried out many different dishes from the menu (sushi, dumplings, beef-noodle-salad) - everything super tasty with reasonable prices and good to share. Location is quite nice as well although they only seem to have one playlist :) oportunities to sit outside in the summer. Service is a bit confused... More

The sky was getting greyer but Ha-An looked welcoming with oversized umbrellas and warm blankets so we decided to give it a try. Perhaps I wouldn't have had the sushi if i'd read the reviews on here but judging by my experience, I'm glad I didn't! Husband had the sate which looked and tasted fine. I had the salmon rolls... How the rice was formed, It was rice cake The rices became a one single piece and tastes horrible Btw the Vietnamese rice noodle soup was tasty. Would recommend the soup but the sushi never. And the staffs were not very friendly and their faces seemed to be pissed off everytime.

Although it is a vietnamese restaurant, its sushi is amazing!! There is a wide range of sushi and there are also sushi menus. If you like sushi, don't miss it!! The prices are very affordable!! We paid 30€ for two people. Its location is perfect, Kastanienallee is one of my favorite streets in Prenzlauerberg.

We were four people ordering standard sashimi and we've waited for more than 90 minutes although the restaurant was just ⅔ occupied. When the food arrived the rice was dry and the fish not fresh. Maybe they forgot it in the kitchen but the tables around us were also not happy. There are many other places in this area which... More

Review of Ha An This restaurant looked appealing as my wife and were strolling by, so we decided to try it. Our decision led to the absolute best Asian dining experience we have ever had. We began with shrimp spring rolls which were absolutely bursting with freshness and flavor. Next we chose crunchy tuna sushi rolls that were also amazing.... More

I really liked the food here, it was yummy and was at a very affordable price. The staff were really helpful and they even had an entire menu in English! Which was good as our German is not great. I really recommend this restaurant, and would gladly go again. Absolutely 5 stars for the sheer value for money! :)

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
