We paid about €23 for a large starter, 2 mains and 2 drinks. I can’t remember ever paying so little for a good meal! I can’t comment on how authentically Indonesian the food is, but it was delicious if not a little on the sweet...More

As an Indonesian, This is the closest taste of Indonesia with very affordable price in my opinion. 🇮🇩

Ok food for an ok price. Nothing exceptional here. Gado Gado was a warm soup like dish. So don’t expect authentic Indonesian cuisine.

The Mabuhay offers some authentic Indonesian dishes. Ours were amazing: the beef rendang was awesome and the squid also tasted quite good. Most dishes cost below €10, so in terms of value for money, the Mabuhay is definitely a great choice. The restaurant room is...More

Called there tonight without a reservation and the small restaurant was full. However, they also have a small cabin and a gazebo which they us3 as overflow so they could accommodate us. It was a cold evening but a heater in the cabin certainly warmed...More

The dishes are ok, huge portions and good prices. It doesn’t look and feel like a restaurant. It is not very clean and that was the biggest issue. If I am nearby and want a quick bite I may visit it again. But I don’t...More

This place is available only by reservation. If you just go you will probably not find a seat because it's tiny and very high in demand. When we went there, I ordered the Kungkang octopus and my partner the Bebek Curry duck. They were big...More

We har a reservation at 8.30 in the evening. When we came the restaurant was absolutely full and crowded. The owner (?) tolv us to take something to drink outside (!) in the courtyard for an hour or so... Never never again!

The place is really small and we were seated at a table with another family but the whole experience was good. The host was friendly, the food was good and the prices are pretty cheap.

Mesmerising rendang Pisang goreng to die for Staff extremely kind and efficient Mabuhay rocks! Most of the dishes are very affordable. Soups look delicious, haven't tried though.

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can
both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central
neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the
1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around
Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s,
rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a
carefree life here. An old hospital even became a
hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today

I would say, Tempe dishes, Gado Gado (Mixed Salad), and stir fry dishes, for example. Indonesian cooking in general have a lot of vegan dishes as we don't normally use cream (but coconut milk instead). You can check their... More
