It offers the same products and service as Bercomi's-Berlin and the same service but it is smaller and more crowed. It make a good resting stop.

The first thing I do when going to Berlin is visiting Barcomi's Deli. Super tasty wraps and sandwiches but the cakes are beyond fantasy. Try the blueberry cheesecake and the carrot cake. Staff is very helpful.

Saw the reviews on tripadvisor and we decided to come here for breakfast. The cafe itself is tucked down a backstreet and takes a bit of finding. It is definitely worth it. The food was delicious, we had their home made bagels which were divine. The setting feels very modern Berlin and the service was excellent. Give it a go!

Had to wait 10 minutes for a table in this bustling cafe, but was totally worth it. Tucked away a bit, it is worth the effort trying to find this place. Service was brisk and the roast chicken salad was a good sized portion, very fresh, and absolutely delicious. Recommended.

We went there on a Sunday morning(is not so easy to go there,so make sure that you have searched for it before) and although it was full, the service was fast enough. We ordered one variety of salami and cheese, delicious and more than enough for two people, wich they served with a basket full of bread,in different kinds. Also we tried the lemon tarte,really... If it's not for the decadently delicious chocolate espresso cheesecake, I would have taken a star or two out of my rating. The service is lukewarm and slow, even during off peak time. I stood at the counter for good 10 minutes in attempt to order while the waiters and waitress walked by me few times without serving anyone. Wobbly... More

The food is fresh and good done. The seatings ( chairs, table) need a make up. Same for the walls and floors. It may look cool, but the time is over, look what happen in NYC.

The food was ample and tasty, big portions, many options. we had the french plate and the vegetarian plate, they are not cheap but you get a lot of food. The black bean-dried tomato spread was amazing. great staff. highly recommended.

We visited here for brunch and it was delicious- such generous portions! Barcomi's is situated in a beautiful location and had a lovely decor inside too. Staff were friendly/inviting, and the service was quick. Highly recommend!

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
