Food was delicious. Suggestions: samosas, chicken soup, lamb vindaloo, chicken tikka and butter, lamb korma, garlic naan, and biryani rice. Indian beer goes better with the meal so ask for their beer instead of German. The owner took our order and was very welcoming and...More

I just loved the food and the service. One of the best Indian meals outside India I have ever had. Really warm and friendly service, worked smoothly even though the restaurant was full. It is advised to book in advance (works well online)

Just around the corner from our apartment we were delighted to see an Indian restaurant there. Being Brits by birth Indian food is part of our culture but sadly not easily obtained in the part of Canada where we live. Started our meal with Onion...More

Excellent selection of dishes especially vegetarian. Very friendly service in a pleasant environment. Restarant was very busy but even still service was good. Good value for money. Will certainly return next time in Berlin.

In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political
west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to
famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may
have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays
tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest
city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent
past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating
back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while

As for the date, you will have to call the restaurant. There are however plenty of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu!

We are open every day except of Wednesdays from 1st April 2016 from 17.00 to 23.00 hours. In September 2014 Restaurant Maharadscha has completed 30 years. We want to say a large thank you to all our guests for their faith in us. If you want to experience authentic Indian food you are here at the right address. We serve chicken, lamb, duck, fish and other seafood dishes but we do have a variety for our vegetarian and vegan guests as well. Here you can forget your prejudices against Indian food since you decide whether you want your dish mild, good-seasoned, spicy or very spicy. One of the owners is always at your side to make your visit memorable. Even though we have a large number of dishes, every meal is been prepared freshly after your order is placed. The restaurant is located very central. You can get to Maharadscha in Schoneberg easily in 5-10 minutes from the underground station Wittenbergplatz (Kudamm with KaDeWe). So tourists can easily travel to the restaurants.
