It doesn't look much from the outside, but the food is very good and so it's the service. We ordered 3 curries, 2 rices and 1 noodles for 3 people and were fully satisfied. We left the waitress choose the curries and indicated level of spiciness, and they were spot on. Recommended!

Unlike many Asian restaurants which mix cuisines ,this one is quite purely Thai and proud of it. It has a fairly large menu but not space.Homely and warm and good service and an interesting Thai decor. The food has may choices and the chef is adaptable.I found Tom yum goong but also the more rare Tom Yam kai with chicken.... More

Really nice food, I usually get one of the curries served in a coconut and it's always fresh and tastes good, cocktail selection is good too. Staff are always friendly and accommodating, if a little slow when it's busy. Slightly on the expensive side but generally worth it, would recommend for any Thai lovers in Berlin!

This evening we had dinner at Mao Thai, it was a nice enough meal, tasty, fresh but not great. We had the pork ribs, chicken, cashew nut dish, clay pot duck curry and a beef red curry, I believe the duck curry was the best. Service was also sufficient, the young guy was lovely but the ladies seemed disinterested.

We enjoyed our meal here very much, the restaurant is situated on a wide street in a nice neighbourhood with several other restaurants around. It was a warm July evening and everyone was sitting outside, it was quite buzzy without being loud. We had 2 starters, 2 mains and drinks and the bill came to about Euro 50. Service was... More

Mao Thai is in a great neighborhood and serves excellent Thai food. We ate there two nights in a row and were not disappointed with any of the dishes. You can eat indoors or outside. The service is friendly and attentive and the prices are quite reasonable. Highly recommended. Form Alexanderplatz take the M2 tram a few stops. Get off... More

The food is very good, if--compared to other Thai places in Berlin--a bit pricey. Service can be a bit slow and the not exactly the friendliest in the city either. A bit of an attitude, no apology for not serving me, merely: we didn't see you. But overall, good atmosphere and cozy. Good place to dine with friends when in... More
