we stumbled across this place, as it was close to the station savignplatz. There were two of us and we shared the vitello tonnato starter, which I am a big fan of from having lived in Italy for a couple of years, and the pizza with artichockes and sundried tomatoes. Both were excellent - even in comparison to food in... More

We went on a weekday so the restaurant was quite. Our orders came quickly. The pizzas were ok but nothing special. Salad was fine too. I thought it was a bit pricey. No wifi. At least they accept debit cards.

This is the second time we visited this restaurant and this time around we enjoyed more than the first time. It has a nice atmosphere and is centrally located on Savignyplatz. We arrived early afternoon on Christmas Eve as there were not too many restaurant open at that time. We were promptly given a seat and we ordered and received... More

We visited here because they cater for vegetarians. My son how is the vegie chose the restaurant after reviewing it on line. The atmosphere was buzzing and the staff were great. They gave you enough time to chose your meal and didn't hover over you and ask before you got your first mouth full down if it is okay. The... More

Place is full of energy; waitstaff and clientele all look like they are having fun. Menu is mostly pizza. A few Italian-ish entrees, pasta, and salads round out the menu. We ordered the special of the day soup. it was mediocre. The large salad with chicken --it was ok. and a pizza with asparagus and salmon. I picked the few... More

Walked by on my way to a train, and came back a couple of nights later. Just what I needed, some real homey food, lots of flavor, lots of taste. Service was welcoming, nice wines by the glass. So many great dishes on offer, and the portions are big. Enjoy!

We stumbled across this restaurant going to our hotel from the station, it was very popular early evening so we gave it ago. We had home made minestrone soup and a pizza which were both excellent, the portions were very large. The staff were welcoming and the bill at the end was reasonable, definitely worth another visit.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
