Loved this café. Friendly people, great music and yummy breakfast till 3pm. You decide how much you pay within the price scale of € 7 - 13. The price depends on your personal financial abilities. Awesome concept!

This was an absolutely fabulous craft beer bar and restaurant that we found as we were bimbling around the wonderful Prenzlauer Berg district of Berlin. We were initially drew to this bar as it was really full and bouncing with a cracking atmosphere. Walking in and you know your in a proper bar/restaurant. The interior is cool with great decor... This place is amazing in every way: great staff, laid-back atmosphere, and the food is pretty good. Make sure to come here on a weekend, as they have an all-you-can-eat menu. And you pay however much you can afford, which is a great concept. They offer a variety of vegan/vegetarian dishes. I love hanging out at this place anytime I... More

I have been living in Berlin for 10 yrs and I have become vegan in 2015. Once this place is really close to mine I have heard it should be a good vegan café, I decided I wanted to check it out. The atmosphere is amazing, relaxed, hippie, laid back. But we come here to eat, right? So here I... More

I love the spreads and the müsli/ cereal stuff! Great to meet friends and show them some of the old Berlin...an anti gentrification island amidst a super gentrified quarter. The project is a collective and has political and ethical ideals that are great and they also serve fantastic food... Come early because you will have to wait for a seat!... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
