We visited on a Monday night and the restaurant was full! It's quite small but the server kept and eye out for us a seat and seated us when he could. The food is great as is the service. We decided to have two for the sharing dishes for 2 between four of us and none of us left hungry!... More

Didn't wait to try the food after being shouted at for no reason. The place is crammed full of tables and clearly they were only interested in keeping every seat occupied to make more money. Don't bother eating here as there are lots of excellent restaurants nearby.

We got take out from this restaurant as we didn't have time to sit and eat and ALL OF OUR FOOD was delicious! The taboule was perfect, with added pomegranate seeds...very moist with just the right amount of citrus! The wraps were very moist on the inside and the wraps themselves stayed nice and dry. The restaurant looked popular based... More

One of my favorite restaurants in the world. Order the babel platter, 10 different dishes, and add some kartoffeln and rice. You are in for a treat! Only one flaw, the bread is not very good. The rest is heavenly!!! Best schawarma (call it kebab if you like) and falafel i ever tried, and boy did i try some...

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
