We were wondering around the center of Berlin looking for sthng to eat when we stumbled upon the Hasir restaurant. And was it worth it! The pita, salad and Humus were great. But the best was the lamb - fantastic! Great service and nice atmosphere!

Excellent food and charming, accommodating service. There were plenty of Turkish customers as well as non-Turkish.

Authentic Turkish food. Friendly service. Prices are somehow high $$$$. I recommend the Adana Yogurtlu and the Kuzu Pirzola (lamb chops). The kunefe (cheese kataifi dessert) is a must. (Photos attached)

Had the 67, 64, and 29. It was a yummy chicken and veggies one pot dish, a mixed plate of lamb, chicken, steak and rice and fries, and airy bread with 4 different toppings. We had never had Turkish food before except for Döner. It was a wonderful introduction to Turkish food. If we lived in Berlin, we would eat... More

We decided to try something different, away from stars and chic Berlin and were recommended this long standing Turkish restaurant - and clearly not disappointed. The food was excellent and tasty, raising memories of good days in Istanbul. This was further enhanced by fact that most people around us spoke Turkish and appeared to be happy returning customers. We will... More

Although the restaurant is slightly pricey, the food is definitely worth to pay for. I ordered chicken thighs which comes with small portion of fries and rice. You also get a bread with different sauces to dip-just yummy. Restaurant looks very nice a luxurious.

Oh my, a visit to Hasir would be well worth it if just for the 'airy' sesame bread and its condiments alone! For someone who used to be a hummus 'skeptic', I was also won over by Hasir's recipe. The lamb chops and grilled whole sea bream fish were all excellent. A splendid dinner for slightly less than €60 with... More

Very elegant and traditional dining hall, with atmospheric lighting. We had extremely good turkish appetizers, both cold and warm, accompanied by a wonderful freshly baked pita bread. Afterwards we had some traditional Iskender kebab, also good, but not quite on par with some of the best we have tried elsewhere. In the case of the kebab the portion was not... More

Possibly the best lamb skewers I have had, very flavoursome and tender. Unfortunately we arrived too late in the evening for popular bread and were given a standard alternative which wasn't as soft/fresh as imagined. Fairly pricey for the portions we received but may just be worth it for that lamb. Lovely warm baklava for dessert. Pleasant all in all.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
