I really cannot fault this restaurant. The staff were very attentive and the food was served quickly once we had ordered, an amazing feat considering how busy the restaurant was. The food was incredible and the portions were more than ample

Loved the Barisal and the creamy Chat Pata soup and the Malaysian samosas were awesome. The chicken Palai kabab was average.

The busiest restaurant we've ever seen, at 9pm on a Saturday in October there were hundreds of people in there enjoying cheap drinks and decent enough food

We were there around 2020hr, placed our order around 2025 and waited for our meal to come for around 50 minutes at 2120. We ordered an appetizer which came not long after the ordering time, but our main course took so long that we even have to remind the waiter about it. I was trying to talk to the server,... More

Randomly fell across this place whilst in Berlin. Great little heated outside area, where you can eat, drink and smoke. Food was tasty, and inexpensive. Service was efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend for anybody looking for a chilled meal and drinks. Great for big groups too.

We found this restaurant on our last night and boy are we sad we didnt find it earlier. Neither of us really fancied an eastern style meal but as we walked past it we both liked the look of it. We had the chicken korma and lamb kambodscha both were excellent the staff very attentive and we will be back.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
