We had a great brunch at Lafil with lots of choices and specially waffle self-maker which was fun. But they had really expensive drinks which are not usual Berlin prices. But in total, you would go out of this place very happy :)

Apart from some members of the staff, I didn't find anything really spanish in this restaurant. I went for dinner with my boyfriend and had a hamburguesa del toro (nothing special...I had a superb one when I went to Barcelona), a ratatouille (wouldn't define it...More

We have been there for lunch. Good and polite service, very good sweets and a good value for money. Sweets are great, warm food not as good but still okay. Will come again.

This restaurant has a great location with a great view of the Kollwitz platz., excellent for people watching. Their sangría is delicious! I've only had gazpacho, tapas and churros (Delicious!) there, but then again, I've been there many times :) The service is very good,...More

We visited Lafil's twice, once in November and once in July. The brunch buffet is excellent, one of the best in Berlin and very good value for your money.

Not the best in town I gues. But will do if you are used to costa brava restaurants. Wine is not very cheap, more then 7? for a glass of white wine 'de la casa' Nice terras on the pavement. Service ok.

After busy and loud Christopher Street Day, we went to Lafil for a dinner. It is located in very quiet district, totally different than Berlin's center. We took 2 plates of tapas mix. I'm not an expert in Spanish food, but it was tasty and...More

The hostess of my wonderful accommodation recommended that I start my last day in Berlin by catching the U-Bahn to Eberswalder Strasse and walking down to Kollwitz Platz. Somewhere a little different, away from the hustle and bustle of the hordes of tourists who, like...More

We came upon this spot while looking around the area for little "shoppes." A very nice array of interesting hot and cold dishes laid out cafeteria style. Constantly replenished, sometimes with new dishes. Several different salads, interesting deserts - you serve yourself and no one...More

Only distantly related to Spanish food, yet somehow the restaurant manages to overcome this. The tapas are quite OK, the steaks are not bad at all - only the paella was a disaster. Sitting outside in the summer, taking an aperitif with tapas and watching...More

No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change
than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists
that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in
the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip
crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were
once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall,
there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have
been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,
