Nice Italian food and wine of trattoria type, reasonably priced. The ink and fish pasta was very tasty. Good service as well.

Yes , the service also is cocky , but if you cannot stand that then you better do not go to an Italien restaurant with Sicilien backgrounds. The service was allright , the noise inside deafening ( tiring and annoying ) and the sole for 37,50 was very small ( In seaside similar restaurants you get 3 of those as... More

Visited here after a recommendation from our hotel staff- Great atmosphere, quick service. Turned up with no reservation but was seated straight away. Menu was in German and had no English version- but waiter was happy to explain all to us, which was greatly appreciated. Food was amazing, defiantly worth a visit.

I loved it here but if quiet, intimate dining is what you're seeking then this is not the place to go (unless it's early, like 5pm early). It was packed and bustling and noisy but we waited at the bar for a table - no reservation, but were seated in about 15 minutes. The waiting staff were friendly and kept... More

Third visit over a six year period. Used to have excellent service, excellent food and a reasonable price. Tonight the food was average, the service abysmal and the price inexpensive but not worth going because of the amount of effort involved to give our order, cancel the prosecco we ordered when we sat down but had not arrived a half... We had a good dinner. Truffle pasta and mozzarella. Good selection of wines The service was good. Very nice atmosphere. A bit expensive maybe. And they didn't accept our credit cards. Still, Who knows, I may return there.

The place is busy for lunch on a nice August day, but the kitchen is overwhelmed, the staff totally inept. The plate of the day was a cheap salad entre followed by a hardened VEAL cut-steak, badly roasted, no sauce, but a few italianized Rosemaries on top, "lieblos" says the Berliner . This joint does not do the lunch-crowd any... More

We have been going to this restaurant for around 10 years. It serves consistently good food with a nice selection of wines. Atmosphere is excellent, lively but not too noisy. One of my favourite places in Berlin.

I've gotten sick night after eating here. Not 100% sure it was the food in the restaurant but I hadn't eaten any other "risky" foods and it was gone the next morning.. Our general experience wasn't very welcoming as well. We had reserved a table online, but as it was the day we visited we probably weren't taken into account.... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
