This place at Berlins famous Bergmannstr. is known for their sweets. So when you are looking for a good pastryshop were the locals eat this is the place to be. Everything they serve is fresh and delicious and the prices are normal. Check it out!

Easy to find. More spacious than it looks from the outside. Friendly somewhat slow service. Finally good coffee but an extra shot will sat you back 1.10EUR and they have different prices for sit down and take away which is not the norm in Berlin and makes no sense. Food was very good too. Everything is expensive for Berlin standards.... More

Pretty secluded. Without GPS with clear directions , it remains a hidden treasure . A nice place for a snack and warm cup of coffee. Ambience is nice , staff are friendly and food is pretty good. Had the chicken sandwich on home made potato bread with house coffee . Servings decent and the sandwich, particularly the bread , is... More

Been walking around the area for a while and stumbled across this cosy place. They have great service, super tasty food and much needed coffee :) Great spot for people watching (if you manage to get the window seat). Super relaxed atmosphere too

Located at the most picturesque neighborhood of Berlin it makes a very good choice to relax and rest from a long wondering in Berlin. The ambiance is very nice, but usually crowded, but there is a big selection of coffee beverages and deserts. Worth the visit.

I have visited this bar many times when I was in Berlin but it never let me down. The people working there are so nice and the coffee is great. And the cakes are heavenly!

Breakfast for two: 14,20€ A bit expensive, as we had two bagels, which were ok but not special and a hot beverage. The menu is not in English and the waitress couldn't speak any word of English so the choice was complicated... The place is pink, not really super cleaned, this is definitively not a place you want to sit... More

We stumbled upon this deli by pure chance. The coffee was excellent and the cakes looked amazing. We didn't eat the deli sandwiches but they looked amazing.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
