Speakeasy style cocktail lounge where you ring a doorbell and wait before been allowed to enter. Nicely decorated with really impressive bar area and nice music. Greeted by friendly member of staff who showed us to a sort of ledge where we could rest our drinks and stand up - no choice of where to stand when seats not available.... More

Nice little speak easy style bar. As with many bars in Berlin, smoking is allowed. On the night we were there, the place was quite foggy and we didn't last for more than a single drink. The cocktails we had were great and crafted with care. Well worth a visit if you can stomach the cigarette smoke.

My partner and I stumbled upon this place whilst on holiday. We had a great evening, it's quite expensive (10 eur for a cocktail) compared to other places however you pay for the service. You ring the bell upon arrival and are seated by staff who take your drinks orders and keeps your water topped up all night. The bell... More

Found the place with a friend on Christmas Eve, and were fascinated by the atmosphere, creative bartenders,Robert and Maria, who were really dedicated to delivering you the authenic choice of coctails. Couldn't resist and made it to the third coctail from the Christmas specials menu and it was the best experience for us! Absolutely recommend this place .

We wanted a bar so was Googling places and this 1 come up a few times. And as it was not far from where we were staying, we decided to give it a try We got there and was greeting by a giant green door (how ironic) with NO door handle to get in. This was confusing but some people... More

We were looking for a great bar for cocktails and found this place online. We were happy to get away from the main tourist zone and headed out to the bar. After ringing the bell, we were let inside and sat at the bar. The bar staff were incredible and the mixologist made us loads of different cocktails that weren't... More

Liked the idea of having to buzz in to gain entry, seated immediately. However, then waited 40 minutes for our drinks! Therefore only stayed for one. Good cocktails but very slow service.

I live in this area since 29 years - never heard about this place. Yesterday my mate could not believed it so we went there. I really loved the atmosphere and the really special selection out of great cocktails and drinks. I can highly recommend this bar!

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighbourhood Profile
In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the centre of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
