-We got tempted by interesting and very nice look of the restaurant (in fact it is located in a building from XIII century) - that was the biggest advantage for me. -Unfortunately the food and beverages were far from satisfactory - fish (Bremer Pannfisch) was bitter and its consistency reminded me of rubber. Flammkuchen with asparagus was tasty, asparagus was... More

Visiting Bremen with friends we were recommended to Stadwirt for late Sunday lunch. It was quiet and only a few tables were occupied. The menu is varied and includes "German Tapas". Its an interesting venue, looking like old cloisters. We found the food superb, excellent service and attentive staff. Well done and thankyou.

Slightly stuck in the 1980's this restaurant is really not very nice. Food was cold and greasy. I couldn't eat much of it. It is also expensive. Much better options in Bremen.

Location: turn into the Lloyd Passage from the Sögestraße, and it's immediately on the left opposite Bremen's bakery Meister. December is the time for Grünkohl in Bremen, and Stadtwirt does it well. I recommend it, but be forewarned: the photo belies the size of the dish. Same goes for the Flammkuchen which looks like a square crispy pizza. If you're... More

I had a group dinner here with some 20 people. For groups they offer a limited menu which I can understand. The food however was below average. I had a zwiebelrostbraten. The food was way too salted. A rostbraten shoud be juicy but it was dry and took heavy chewing. Price was above average for rostbraten.

We enjoyed the dinner at Stadwirt. We got delicious food, really nice service and it was not too expensive. Both vegetarian and gluten free meals were managed. Also children were happy with the dinner. Vielen Danke!

The old part is definitely the part to go if you want to show, or even show off, what kind of nice places you know. However it is a good idea to reserve a table there, as the seats are very limited. The bigger part of the location is a more modern restaurant that has the same food and drinks... More

Difficult to find (although in the very center of the city), strange entrance (in the modern shopping mall), but once you are in and choose to sit in the area with old (?) brick vaulted corridor, everything will improve. Food is good (ok, no high cuisine, but decent local stuff), service was very nice (even taking care of small children)... More

It can be reached by car and public transports. Is in an old building and you can eat meat and fish and the "Bremen" specialities. Menu in English
