This restaurant is located in the gorgeous arches alongside the canal. With a reasonably priced lunchtime special menu, we didn't resist. inside there is a small selection of seats downstairs, and up a spiral staircase there is a larger area of tables. Friendly staff greet you, and our choice of the Mezze platter was greeted with glee from them, and... More

Even though the restaurant is rather pricy, the falaffel is good and the location is great. The staff is not very attentive.

We took the menu and enjoyed the variety of many small and tasty dishes. No waiting time between the servings and very kind staff kept us entertained throughout the dinner. All in all the menu was ok value for 43 Euro.

We had breakfast here because it seemed quite nice right at the water. The waiter was nice but the breakfast was poor and quite expensive. Next time we will try their proper lunch/dinner

In the heart of Hamburg near the beautiful city hall is Saliba, the top Syrian restaurant in the city. Some say one of the best in Germany. I could not agree more. From the moment you come in you can smell the intoxicating mix of spices and freshly cooked dishes. The meals are filling and bring amazing flavor combinations to... More

We were a group of three people & went there for lunch. Cozy & elegant ambiance. The server was friendly. Perfectly organized & spotless silverware. Moments later, we were served with a complimentary lentil soup with a slice of fried bread. We ordered a shawarma, Magrabia platter & Turkish tea. The shawarma platter states that it's marinated with 11 different... More

Last Friday, my wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Saliba, and it is going to be hard to find a place to surpass it, next year. Saliba is in a gorgeous location, and in early December, it overlooks a Christmas market. They sell Gluhwein from a little stand in the front, and lots of people were standing around... More

We had a great dinner for two. Especially the mixed appetizers are great ( so called mazza) The restaurant is small but this doesn't matter the service is very friendly and you also have a good atmosphere. However it is quit pricy
