We were there with my wife. Upon arrival we were presented with an impressive board with hand written menu. I ordered pasta with Trüffels. After finishing the starter (!) the waiter informed me that truffles are sold out... I asked if they had something vegetarian. The waiter said that he will check with the chef. No feedback. After 20 minutes... More

I Have visited the restaurant for dinner, and the food was very good. I like French cuisine, and I have to admit that the food served in Brasserie Du Sud, is very close to the original recipes. Bouillabaisse soup , for a starter is excellent. Definately a winner. Beef was very well cooked and the lamb too. Overall well prepared... More

Went for lunch and I am picky about my food (I am French), quite a nice brasserie, with traditional menu and daily specials. Sitting outside on the shade in a quiet street of Frankfurt was quite enjoyable. Also the service was faultless.

The food in this restaurant is tasty; at my visit, I had a salad with goat cheese, which was fresh and nicely prepared. The surroundings are very nice, especially the terrace in sunny weather. What spoiled this visit for me were two things: Firstly, the prices - not horribly overcharged, but it is rather pricey for what you get (this... More

Nice entourage, good food. I liked the menu, many options. We order a bunch of startes for the group. All great. And the main dishes also very good. No desserts but I liked the coffee.

a nice mix between TOP Restaurant and Top Bistro. Everyone will find something, whether it's beer / wine at the bar or at the tables with or without a tablecloth.

We have been going to this restaurant over the years and celebrated birthdays, Valentines days and other Life celebrations there. Last night was the last time we went to this restaurant. They had an offer of a starter of Foie Gras with 5cl of Sauterne wine for €17.50. It was expensive but knowing that Sauterne wine is expensive I though... More

This is a favorite of locals when the sun is shinning and there are still tables outside available. Jimmy in the kitchen is a master chef and the 3-course lunch specials and always a treat, especially the desert. Inside in the evenings is warm and friendly and the great table in the entrance can sit 8-10 friends for conversation, food... More

In the 5 years I have lived in Frankfurt there have been 3 different restaurants in this location. But I have often wondered if the cook stayed the same through all of these changes because that hasn't seemed to change at all. In fairness, this place is not bad. The location is great and the outdoor patio is one of... More
